Peaceful Valley is where the county turns properly rural, and the foothills run is planned like it: clustered stops so the highway miles carry a full day's work, an intake call that charts fuel, water source and which gravel fork finds the house, and a van loaded for a countryside with no parts counter closer than Bellingham.
